Vivo Y500 4 G Launched As A Mid Range Flagship With 8100 m Ah Battery Massive AMOLED Display And IP69 Protection

Vivo has launched the Y500 4G the mid range flagship smartphone which brings industry leading battery capacity technology and broad acceptance level body protection together. The Y500 4 G aims to deliver the durability of a flagship level flagship and a high end display experience for a very inexpensive price.

The front of the mobile phones has a 6.83,inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K display. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and is capable of reaching a peak brightness of 5000 nits, ensuring the device remains clearly visible even in broad daylight. It is internally equipped with the Unisoc T7300 processor, representing it as a drastically atypical piece of hardware relative to rival models in the market. The system's RAM is 8 GB LPDDR4X, while the flash storage takes the form of either 128 GB or 256 GB UFS 2.2. In internal hardware tests, Vivo developers have stated that the phone will score over 680,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmarking system.

Even with a massive 8100 m Ah battery, the chassis is still fairly thin at 8.19 millimeters thick. Rapid charging (44 W) is supported to reduces operation lulls. Strenght of construction is a differentiator for the variant, as the construction has received an IP68 and IP69 certification for water and dust resistance, respectively, in addition to the MIL STD 810H military certification. Vivo states the protection is 100% suitable for underwater photography and operation.

The rear camera module is designed with a 50 MP Sony IMX852 main sensor, with an f1.8 lens, and includes an additional 2 MP depth sensor, to enable background blur in Bokeh Portrait Mode. On the front, we find a 32 MP camera with f2.0 lens, for selfies and Skype calls. The software is Android 16 with their custom user interface, OriginOS 6. Included on the device are near field communication, dual SIM slots, stereo speakers, and an under screen fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone is aimed at providing good value for money for budget conscious users who need a long battery life and minimal fragility. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at $359. The 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage version has a retail price of $395.
