Asus has introduced the ExpertBook B3 G2, a configurable business laptop powered by Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors. Available in 14 inch and 16 inch models, the new notebook packs an NPU hitting 17 TOPS, up to 64GB of expandable DDR5 memory, and military durability starting at 1.45 kilograms. The company is offering the laptop with 5 years of security updates and enterprise level support.
The core of the machine runs on Intel Core 7 Series 3 silicon with integrated graphics. While the system ships with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, Asus designed the chassis for easy upgrades. Users can expand the hardware up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and up to 4TB of solid state storage. The integrated Neural Processing Unit delivers up to 17 TOPS to speed up AI tasks like Microsoft Copilot and AI noise canceling audio during conference calls. A 70Wh battery powers the system through long workdays, while the ExpertCool thermal design prevents the components from overheating under heavy workloads.
Buyers can pick between the 14 inch B3406CMA model and the 16 inch B3606CMA model. Both variants feature a 180 degree lay flat hinge that allows the screen to rest completely flat on a desk. The top tier screen configuration offers a 2.5K anti glare panel with a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. Video calls run through an FHD IR camera with facial recognition. For physical toughness, the chassis passed 24 separate procedures to meet MIL STD 810H military testing standards, making it tough enough for travel.
Security protections center around the Asus ExpertGuardian platform. The laptop meets NIST SP 800 193 compliance standards for firmware protection and includes a physical TPM 2.0 chip. Asus added dual ROM recovery and a dedicated Security Processor Unit to protect critical startup data. Other hardware safeguards include chassis intrusion detection and cloud recovery options. To ensure system longevity, Asus promises 5 full years of official BIOS and driver updates for IT fleet managers.
