ASUS has released a new configuration of its flagship ROG Moba 9X gaming desktop. The high performance system pairs the new Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card to target premium gamers. This powerful setup is now available in China through JD.com starting at 17999 Yuan about 2667.47 USD.
The desktop runs on the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor, which is built on the Arrow Lake architecture. It features 24 cores and 24 threads, combining 8 performance cores with 16 efficiency cores. The performance cores can boost up to 5.5 GHz, while an integrated NPU handles local artificial intelligence tasks. For graphics, ASUS installed its PRIME GeForce RTX 5070 card with 12GB of video memory. Built on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, this GPU supports advanced technologies like full ray tracing and DLSS 4 to run modern games smoothly. Dual ball bearing fans and a phase change thermal pad keep the GPU temperature under control.
Storage and memory are scaled to match the processing power. The system ships with 32GB of DDR5 5600 RAM split across 2 slots, with room to expand up to 128GB across 4 slots total. For storage, you get a 1TB PCIe 4.0 solid state drive. The motherboard provides 3 separate M.2 slots, including 1 direct CPU connection that supports PCIe 5.0 speeds for future drive upgrades. An 850W Gold power supply ensures a stable flow of electricity to all these internal components.
The system sits in a massive 58 liter gaming tower that features a bold asymmetrical design and customizable RGB lighting. Gamers can synchronize the internal lighting with external ROG accessories using Aura Sync software. The case design also includes a transparent window to show off the components and tool free access paneling for easy hardware upgrades. A 240 millimeter liquid AIO cooler and 4 ring bearing case fans manage the airflow, with each fan pushing up to 65 CFM of air.
The physical port selection is highly versatile, with connections split between the top and rear panels. On the top of the chassis, you can access 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, 1 Type C port, and dedicated jacks for both headphones and microphones. Around the back, the motherboard offers a 2.5Gb ethernet port, 1 high speed USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type C port, and 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A port. Additional legacy support comes from 4 USB 2.0 ports and 4 standard USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports.
