HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro Smartwatch Launches with Titanium Build and 21 Day Battery

HUAWEI has launched the WATCH GT 7 Pro, a durable smartwatch designed for extreme sports and outdoor enthusiasts. The wearable features a premium titanium alloy build, a bright AMOLED screen peaking at 3000 nits, and professional dive safety certification down to 40 meters. It has arrived in China starting at roughly 398 US dollars.

The smartwatch is built to survive harsh environments. The front casing uses a titanium alloy while the rear cover is made from nanomicrocrystalline ceramic. The watch weighs 55.5 grams without the strap and measures 45.6 by 45 by 11.25 millimeters. Fluoroelastomer straps are available in yellow, green, and black.

Viewing data in bright sunlight should be easy. The display uses a 1.47 inch AMOLED panel with 466 by 466 resolution and 317 pixels per inch. Navigation is handled through a physical button alongside a rotating crown on the side of the chassis.

Fitness and health monitoring options are extensive. The watch houses an optical heart rate sensor, a barometer, a thermometer, an ECG sensor, and a depth gauge. Dual frequency GNSS positioning supports GPS L1 and L5 signals alongside GLONASS, BeiDou, and GALILEO. The chip supports Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC. A speaker and microphone are built in so you can answer phone calls directly from your wrist.

HUAWEI is targeting divers with this release. The body is certified to 5 ATM and IP69 standards. It also meets the European EN13319 standard for diving accessories. This allows you to take the watch on freedives down to 40 meters deep. Specialized activity profiles also track skiing, golf, and trail runs.

Battery life is a major selling point. Light daily use can keep the device running for up to 21 days. Standard use drops that to 12 days, and keeping Always On Display active drops it further to 7 days. If you are tracking a trail run, the GPS can run continuously for up to 51 hours on a single charge.

According to the official launch pricing in China, the WATCH GT 7 Pro costs 2688 yuan, which is about 398 US dollars. For buyers who do not need the titanium build or the diving features, the standard WATCH GT 7 is also available. That base model is priced at 1588 yuan, or about 235 US dollars.
