With its latest financial statements, Asus has reported record July revenue driven by robust AI server shipments. The group consolidated revenue reached 84.13 billion TWD (2.61 billion USD), combining a 53.33% annual increase with a strong performance across its enterprise division. However, the company faces rising component costs and a broader decline in the global PC market.
Cumulative group revenue for the first 7 months of the year reached 550.23 billion TWD (17.06 billion USD), representing a 40.88% surge compared to the same period last year. The brand consolidated portion of this revenue stood at 513.85 billion TWD (15.93 billion USD), which is an increase of 42.76% annually. Although monthly revenue dipped by more than 20% compared to the quarterly peak in June, the overall performance established a historic high for the month of July and the 3rd highest single month revenue on record.
The tech industry continues to deal with shortages and rising prices for core components including memory, CPUs, GPUs, and printed circuit board substrates. Analysts expect these supply issues to create headwinds during the second half of the year. Rising average selling prices are projected to weaken consumer purchasing interest in the 3rd quarter. While enterprise upgrades remain active, corporate budget constraints mean total shipments will likely contract. Asus expects the global PC market to decline by 10% to 15% this year, though the company expects its own PC division to hold steady with flat to slight growth.
The enterprise server business has emerged as a major growth engine, thanks to rising shipments of the GB300 architecture. The infrastructure solutions division now generates around 30% of total company revenue. Asus has also secured orders for the upcoming Nvidia Vera Rubin platform, which provides excellent visibility for shipments later this year. Management subsequently doubled its full year growth target for the server division.
An upcoming board meeting and investor conference scheduled for this Wednesday will provide deeper insights into these figures. The 2 joint CEOs alongside the chief financial officer will share their outlook on market conditions and future operations. Investors are focusing closely on the launch of the RTX Spark AI PC series, which utilizes the Nvidia N1X platform, to see if it can sustain the sales momentum into next year.
