Under the hood sits the PAW3955 EVO sensor, capable of reaching 56000 DPI alongside 750 IPS tracking speed and 60 G acceleration. Connectivity covers wired USB, 2.4G wireless, and Bluetooth 5.2 modes. Gamers get an authentic 8KHz polling rate in both wired and wireless operation, supported by an included 8K dongle in the box. AULA also integrated AI adaptive frequency hopping to keep wireless connections stable during heavy interference.

The primary buttons rely on SSHS electromagnetic switches instead of standard mechanical or optical options. This setup gives users granular hardware control with 10 actuation point levels, 5 rapid trigger reset settings, and 5 tactile feedback adjustments. The scroll wheel uses a TTC Gold encoder rated for 2,000,000 cycles. Players can also adjust the lift off distance across 5 steps ranging from 0.7 to 1.6 millimeters.

The mouse features a symmetrical shell with a skin texture finish and pure PTFE skates underneath. Weighing approximately 65 grams, the body measures 125.37 by 63.23 by 39.86 millimeters, making it suitable for claw, palm, or fingertip grip styles. Power comes from an internal 500 mAh battery rated for over 80 hours of continuous use. AULA offers the Kunlun X5 in 4 color finishes including Moonlight White, Panda White, Soft Fog Pink, and Glacier Blue.
