CHERRY XTRFY has launched the M42V2, a budget gaming mouse announced at Gamescom 2026. The wired pointer weighs just 45g, features a symmetrical shape with swappable back shells, and runs on a PixArt PAW3327 optical sensor. It is available now with an entry level retail price of $39.
At 45g, the M42V2 is the lightest gaming mouse CHERRY XTRFY has ever released. The chassis measures 118 by 62 by 38 millimeters, making it suitable for both left and right hand players. To help gamers customize their grip, the package includes 2 interchangeable back shells that change the height and curve of the rear hump. The base is fitted with ultra high molecular weight polyethylene skates for smooth gliding, while a flexible EZcord cable keeps cord drag minimal during fast swipes.
Internal hardware centers on the PixArt PAW3327 sensor, which reaches up to 6200 DPI for everyday competitive gaming.
