Colorful has introduced the COLORFIRE MEOW X16 Pro, a new gaming laptop sporting an orange cat aesthetic alongside high performance hardware. The machine packs an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HX processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU, and a fast 180Hz display. Preorders are now open in China starting at 10399 yuan.
Under the hood, the MEOW X16 Pro carries 16GB of DDR5 5200 SODIMM memory and a 512GB PCIe Gen4 solid state drive. Thermal management relies on a Cooling 2.0 setup using 2 fans, 4 heat pipes, and 4 exhaust vents. This cooling layout supports a total system power output of 170W while keeping fan noise capped around 50dB during heavy gaming sessions.
Visuals are handled by a 16 inch IPS screen with a 2560x1600 resolution. The panel delivers a 180Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of peak brightness, and covers 100% of the sRGB color space. On the outside, Colorful leaned heavily into its pet branding. The Orange Shadow White chassis uses a stamped matte finish with subtle 3D cat textures on the outer lid. The keyboard deck sports an orange and white two tone pearl finish alongside a custom cat paw trackpad.
The laptop also connects with Colorful mobile software ecosystem for smartphones. It includes a built in offline wake engine and a dedicated AI audio chip. This allows users to power on the system with voice commands or unlock the desktop automatically. You can also turn your phone into a presentation clicker or a wireless gaming controller. Physical connectivity includes an 80Wh battery, Wi Fi 6E, 2.5GbE Ethernet, 3 USB A ports, and 2 USB C ports.
