Doogee has expanded its rugged smartphone lineup with the launch of the M30 and M30 Pro. The standard model stands out with an ultra loud speaker, while the Pro variant integrates a secondary rear display for notifications and selfies. But the company has not yet announced international pricing for the new devices.
The standard Doogee M30 prioritizes battery performance and high volume output without the bulk of traditional rugged designs. It features a 6.88 inch display running at a 90 Hz refresh rate. Audio output is powered by a massive 23 millimeter speaker pushing 2.5 W of power to reach volumes up to 135 dB. For performance, it relies on a Unisoc T7280 processor alongside 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage that can expand up to 2 TB using a memory card.
The Pro model introduces a small 1.3 inch display on the rear panel. This circular screen lets you track notifications, manage music playback, or use the main 64 MP camera to frame high resolution selfies. It shares the same Unisoc processor but bumps the system memory up to 8 GB of RAM. Front imaging is handled by a separate 20 MP sensor.
Both phones run on a massive 8000 mAh silicon carbon battery. The battery tech supports 33 W fast charging and 5 W reverse charging to power up smaller devices on the go. The manufacturer promises the battery will hold at least 80% of its original capacity even after 1500 charging cycles. The reinforced chassis protects against drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters and allows for deep water submersion.
