GMKtec has launched the NEO X1 series MoDT gaming workstation on major e commerce platforms. The compact 14.6 liter desktop pairs AMD Fire Range processors with desktop Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards. Pricing starts at 11999 RMB (USD approx $1650) for early buyers when sales open later this month.
The system packs high end hardware into a small footprint. Buyers can select up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor paired with a desktop grade Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB of video memory. The motherboard features a 13 phase power delivery system to allow the processor to run at a full 160W power limit. To keep thermal output in check, GMKtec has fitted a liquid cooling loop inside the chassis.
Memory configurations offer a choice between 32GB or 64GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600 MT/s. Storage needs are handled by 2 PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, allowing users to expand their storage space up to 16TB. Wired network connections run on a fast 2.5GbE LAN port, and wireless traffic uses the latest Wi Fi 7 standard. Every system comes with the Windows 11 Pro operating system already installed at the factory.
Power is supplied by an 850W fully modular gold rated power supply. The entry configuration features the Ryzen 9 9955HX processor, an RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB of video memory, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, carrying an early buyer price of 11999 RMB (USD approx $1650).
Upgrading to the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor and the RTX 5070 with 12GB of video memory pushes the price to 17499 RMB (USD approx $2410) for a 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD setup. The top tier model doubles the RAM to 64GB for a promotional price of 19699 RMB (USD approx $2710).
