Honor has launched the Pad X10 Pro Max, a large mid range tablet built primarily for students. It packs a 13 inch 120 Hz screen, a massive 10100 mAh battery with 45W charging, and attention tracking sensors for digital learning. The tablet is available in China with prices starting at 1899 yuan, which converts to roughly $283.
The screen is clearly the main attraction. Honor fitted the tablet with a 13 inch LCD panel running at 2500x1560 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Buyers who study outdoors or under bright classroom lights can select an optional anti glare finish. Under the hood, the device runs on a 6nm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor. Memory setups include 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage. If that is not enough space for textbooks and offline video lectures, the built in microSD slot takes cards up to 2TB.
Battery endurance should easily handle a full day of school work. The 10100 mAh capacity is backed by 45W wired charging to get the device back up and running quickly. Sound output comes from 4 built in speakers, while wireless connections rely on dual band Wi Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
Camera hardware includes a 5 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera for video calls. The specialized Soft Light and Study editions add a secondary 2 MP front sensor that monitors learning habits, tracking 6 distinct signs of distraction during class. The Study bundle also includes a protective case and a Magic Pencil 4s stylus.
On the software side, the device ships with MagicOS 10 built on top of Android 16. The slim chassis measures 297.62 by 192.72 by 6.72 millimeters and weighs around 618 to 621 grams depending on the edition. Pricing in China starts at 1899 yuan for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. That works out to approximately $283 before any regional taxes.
