Honor Magic9 Series Design Revealed with Arri Branding

Honor has given the public a first look at the upcoming Magic9 series during its Robot Phone global launch event. The upcoming flagship features a massive circular camera module with official Arri branding and premium hardware specifications. However, the company has yet to confirm the final retail pricing.

The design reveal occurred through presentation slides during the event broadcast. The prominent circular camera layout on the back of the Magic9 series houses the distinctive logo of Arri, the famous German cinema camera manufacturer. This co branding suggests a deep development partnership aimed at bringing professional grade color science and optics to consumer mobile photography.

Leaked prototype details suggest some incredible hardware is running behind the scenes. The primary camera reportedly uses a 200MP 1/1.28 inch sensor. This sits alongside a secondary 200MP periscope telephoto lens for extreme zoom capabilities. Powering these features is a massive battery with a capacity starting with the digit 8, which points to a major jump in device longevity compared to previous models.

Other leaked specifications include a secure 3D face unlock system and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built directly into the display. The phone also supports full speed wireless charging, top tier waterproofing, and symmetrical dual speakers. While Honor has kept the official details quiet, leaks suggest the device is tentatively scheduled to debut late next month.
