A new high refresh rate gaming monitor has arrived on JD.com. The KOORUI X7Q features a Fast IPS panel with a 2560 by 1440 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response times. The competitive display is now available in China starting at an introductory price of 849 yuan.
Gamers looking for smooth motion can rely on the built in DIC2 motion blur elimination software. This self developed algorithm uses synchronized black frame insertion to eliminate ghosting and screen trailing during fast paced play. Performance is backed by hardware support for Adaptive Sync and FreeSync, while also maintaining compatibility with G Sync setups to prevent screen tearing during intense gameplay sequences.
Color accuracy is another strong point for this budget display. The panel is factory calibrated to hit an average Delta E of 2 or less. It covers 92% of the DCI P3 color space and 99% of sRGB, outputting 1.07 billion colors through 10 bit depth using 8 bit plus FRC technology. It also carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and reaches a peak brightness of 400 nits to deliver solid contrast levels.
To help players in different genres, the firmware includes customized gaming modes. These include dark equalization settings for FPS titles, color balance profiles for RPGs, and color gain tweaks for racing games. Hardware low blue light filtering is present to protect eyes during long sessions without degrading color output. Built in crosshairs and gaming timers are also included in the settings menu to help players track match times.
