Lenovo has launched the Legion 34W 2c, a new curved ultrawide gaming monitor designed for immersive play. The display pairs a 34 inch VA panel with a WQHD resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and dual HDMI 2.1 ports. It is currently available in the Chinese market priced at 1799 yuan about 266.61$.
The screen features a 1500R curvature and a 21 to 9 aspect ratio to wrap around your field of view. It delivers 3440 by 1440 pixels at a density of 110 pixels per inch. Gamers get a 4000 to 1 contrast ratio along with 400 nits of typical brightness and DisplayHDR 400 support. Motion handling is managed through a 1 millisecond grey to grey response time, which drops to 0.5 milliseconds in moving picture response time mode. The hardware also supports AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync to eliminate screen tearing.
Color performance relies on a 10 bit depth capable of showing more than 1,000,000,000 shades. The display covers 99% of the sRGB color space and 95% of the wider DCI P3 gamut. Software adjustments are supported via an LADM driver that lets you switch between multiple color profiles. For competitive gaming, the monitor includes built in software tools like an on screen crosshair, a frame rate counter, and a dark area enhancer to help spot enemies in shadows.
Eye safety certifications include Eyesafe 2.0 and low blue light hardware certification from TUV Rheinland. Unlike software filters that tint the screen yellow, this hardware solution reduces harmful blue light directly from the backlight without ruining color accuracy. The panel also uses direct current dimming to remain flicker free, reducing eye strain during long gaming sessions.
Physical connectivity options are located on the back of the chassis. You get 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 1 DisplayPort 1.4 connection. Both port types support the full 3440 by 1440 resolution at 240Hz, while the DisplayPort connection also allows for full 10 bit color. For physical adjustment, the ergonomic stand supports 135 millimeters of height adjustment, 30 degrees of horizontal swivel in either direction, and a tilt range from 5 degrees forward to 22 degrees backward.
