Motorola has launched the Moto G Max in the Indian market. The budget smartphone packs a massive 7000mAh battery alongside a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor. Buyers will also find a classic 3.5 millimeter headphone jack on the frame.
The naming strategy for this device is slightly confusing. Motorola released a different phone under the exact same name in Brazil earlier this summer, but that model was a rebranded Moto G87 using a Dimensity 6400 processor. The newly released Indian version is actually a rebranded Moto G57 Power. these naming differences to help clarify the situation for global buyers who might confuse the two models.
Battery life is the clear selling point here. The 7000mAh capacity allows the phone to stay powered for up to 3 days on a single charge. Up front, you get a 6.72 inch screen with FHD plus resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1050 nits of peak brightness, ensuring clear visibility in direct sunlight.
The camera setup is straightforward. On the back, you will find a 50 megapixel main sensor alongside an 8 megapixel ultrawide lens. For selfies, Motorola fitted a 32 megapixel front camera inside a small punch hole. Performance is handled by LPDDR5X memory and fast UFS 3.1 storage. The device also carries an IP64 dust and water resistance rating, along with stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos audio.
