Sony BRAVIA 6 OLED Series Brings 120 Hz Panels Starting at $1300

Sony has introduced the BRAVIA 6 series, a new lineup of budget friendly OLED televisions available in sizes ranging from 48 to 83 inches. All 5 models come equipped with 4K panels, 120 Hz refresh rates, and 4 HDMI 2.1 ports for modern console setups. Pricing starts at $1300 for the smallest model and climbs to $4000 for the flagship 83 inch screen.

Living rooms change lighting conditions throughout the day. Sony addresses this with an ambient light sensor system that reads the room and automatically tweaks brightness and contrast on the fly. Colors get an extra boost from Triluminos Pro processing, which widens the palette to make shades look rich rather than washed out.

The audio side covers all major theatrical formats right out of the box. You get Dolby Vision for enhanced visual clarity, paired with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X spatial sound. The built in speakers handle surround sound rendering without forcing you to buy a separate soundbar immediately.

Gamers will appreciate the port layout. Sony included 4 full speed HDMI 2.1 inputs, allowing players to run 4K visuals at 120 frames per second on current gaming consoles. The operating system runs on Google TV, offering clean menus and built in voice controls to search for movies or open apps quickly.

Sony is offering 5 distinct sizes to fit different room dimensions. The 48 inch model costs $1300, while the 55 inch version sits at $1500. Buyers looking for larger displays can pick up the 65 inch model for $2000, the 77 inch version for $3000, or the massive 83 inch variant for $4000.
