The VAIO SX14 R VJS4R2 variant comes standard with a built in system capable of measuring heart rate and blood vessel data directly from your face. This update makes the device the first personal computer in the world to offer integrated contactless biometrics of this kind.
The health tracking feature relies on the integrated camera and proprietary VAIO WellnessCare software. Using non contact sensing algorithms, the system detects the face of the user to scan vital signs. It is incredibly fast. The entire process takes just 3 seconds to gather heart rate and blood vessel information.
The system automatically logs the captured metrics onto the local storage of the machine so users can track their physical wellness over time. Users can also configure the program to run automated checks at set intervals during the workday.
