The Redmi 17 4G has quietly gone on sale in Poland without any official announcement from Xiaomi. Listed prematurely by a local retailer, the budget phone packs a massive 7500 mAh battery alongside a 120 Hz display. Pricing starts at 210 euros for the base storage configuration.
Retail listings reveal that the smartphone features a 6.9 inch screen with a 1600x720 resolution. Inside, the phone runs on a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra processor. It ships with Android 16 skinned with the HyperOS 3 interface. That is a surprisingly modern software setup for a budget device.
The biggest selling point is easily the battery capacity. At 7500 mAh, it is far larger than what you find in standard mobile hardware. The battery supports 45W wired charging to help fill the massive cell. For memory, Xiaomi has selected 4GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of storage.
For photography, you get a 50MP main camera on the back and an 8MP front lens inside a small cutout. The design includes a side fingerprint sensor, a standard headphone jack, and NFC for contactless payments. The body is 8.8 millimeters thick and weighs 232 grams.
Polish retailers have the phone listed in blue and green color options. The base model with 128GB of storage costs 210 euros. If you want the 256GB storage option, the price rises to approximately 255 euros. There is no official word yet on when the phone will expand to other global markets.
