ASUS has introduced its updated ProArt hardware lineup during the IBC broadcast convention in Amsterdam. The machines feature NVIDIA RTX Spark chip alongside custom OLED screens to handle heavy generative video and 120B parameter artificial intelligence models directly on device. The company is positioning these laptops and convertibles as complete mobile workstations for creative professionals.
The primary focus of the new hardware centers on the ProArt P16 and P14 models. Both laptops carry NVIDIA RTX Spark hardware delivering 1 petaflop of processing power and up to 128GB of unified memory. That memory capacity allows digital artists to run local large language models up to 120B parameters and train custom character models without relying on remote servers. ASUS also verified these machines for ComfyUI workflows and bundled Google AI Pro access for hybrid tasks.
Visual output relies on Lumina Pro OLED panels pushing 120Hz refresh rates with peak brightness reaching 1600 nits. This display setup supports heavy production tasks ranging from 90GB 3D project rendering to 12K video editing in 4:2:2 color profiles.
For creators needing different hardware configurations ASUS offers several alternative choices. The ProArt P16 can be configured with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 for maximum raw graphics speed. Mobile editors get the ProArt PX13 which runs on an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor inside a 360 degree convertible body. The company also revealed the ProArt PZ14 creator tablet which relies on a Snapdragon X2 Elite chip for portable computing.
On the software side ASUS updated its MuseTree creative application. The tool connects with the FLUX.2 image model and includes Idea Craft to generate visuals and video from natural language prompts. The broader showcase at the convention also covers professional SDI broadcast monitors and multi GPU desktop workstation setups for live video workflows.
