ASUS Unveils ProArt GR1X Mini PC with NVIDIA RTX Spark Power

ASUS has introduced the ProArt GR1X, a palm sized desktop designed to process heavy artificial intelligence models and creative workloads directly on device. Powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark hardware, the compact machine provides up to 1 petaflop of computing speed and 128GB of unified memory. The announcement took place during the IBC broadcast convention in Amsterdam.

Running on the Windows platform, the ProArt GR1X targets visual creators, software developers, and studio engineers who require local computing power. The hardware delivers 1 petaflop of FP4 AI capability, allowing users to run large generative models and agentic workflows without relying on external cloud networks. The generous 128GB unified memory pool allows complex 3D assets, multi stream video edits, and autonomous agents to operate entirely on local silicon without running out of system memory.

Fitting high performance hardware into a tiny footprint is always difficult. ASUS addressed this by engineering a custom dual fan thermal module featuring 218 separate fan blades. The cooling design provides up to 1.6X greater surface coverage and relies on a 7 level fan control curve to maintain quiet acoustics during demanding video rendering tasks. Measuring just 150 by 150 by 51 millimeters, the miniature enclosure is rated for continuous operation in busy production studios.

Connectivity is focused on modern multi monitor creative environments. The ProArt GR1X can output to 4 separate 4K displays simultaneously, creating a versatile workspace for video editors and digital artists. ASUS presented the unit alongside its upcoming professional SDI displays and OLED monitors to highlight complete production workflows. The hardware demonstration showed how local silicon can handle real time video generation alongside remote workstation access without lag.
