Colorful has launched a top tier variant of the Lingchuang K16 workstation laptop with massive memory and storage. Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, the new model packs 128GB of RAM and a 4TB SSD to handle local AI generation. The machine is currently available in China priced at 39,999 yuan (approx. $5,960 USD).
The core of the laptop runs on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. This APU features 16 cores and 32 threads with integrated Radeon 8060S graphics built on RDNA 3.5 architecture. According to retail data published by Colorful, the system delivers up to 160W of total performance output. To keep temperatures manageable under heavy computational loads, the chassis incorporates 2 fans, 3 heat pipes, and 4 exhaust vents.
Memory capacity is the main selling point for this configuration. Colorful equipped the workstation with 128GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 8000MT/s alongside a 4TB PCIe 4.0 solid state storage drive. This massive memory pool lets creators load complex machine learning models directly into RAM for fast local execution. The included Nova Studio platform supports 1 click deployment of local tools like ComfyUI and large language models without cloud dependence.
Visual output is handled by a 16 inch IPS panel with a 2560x1600 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The screen achieves 500 nits of brightness and covers 100% of the sRGB color space. Below the display, the base features a 4 zone RGB backlit keyboard with a dedicated number pad, a glass trackpad, and 2W stereo speakers.
Port selection provides strong flexibility for creative and workstation setups. The rear of the chassis includes an OCuLink connection, 1 USB 4 port, HDMI 2.1, 1 USB A port running at 10Gbps, and an RJ45 2.5G ethernet jack. The left side houses 1 USB A 3.2 port, 1 USB C 5Gbps port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. On the right side, users get an extra USB C 5Gbps port along with a Micro SD card reader.
