The 1L aluminum machine packs up to 192GB of memory and offers rare desktop class features like OCuLink and 10GbE networking. However, getting the top tier memory configuration requires spending an eye popping 43599 yuan, which translates to roughly 6496 USD.
Pricing for the FAEX2 reveals a massive financial jump between memory tiers. The base configuration ships with 128GB of LPDDR5X 8533 memory for 21599 yuan, or approximately 3218 USD. Stepping up to the 192GB version pushes the retail price to 43599 yuan, which equals about 6496 USD. That means buying 1 single 192GB unit costs more than purchasing 2 separate 128GB machines. Neither option includes solid state storage out of the box, leaving buyers to purchase their own drives.
Despite measuring roughly 1L in total volume, the CNC aluminum chassis is built to handle heavy sustained workloads. FEVM designed the cooling assembly to handle a full 160W of power delivery from the AMD silicon. For internal expansion, the motherboard provides 3 M.2 2280 slots running at PCIe Gen4 speeds.
