Intel has scrapped plans to release a desktop Nova Lake processor equipped with 12 Xe graphics cores. The high performance integrated graphics configuration will now arrive under the Razor Lake S banner instead. But the actual silicon will likely be a renamed version of the delayed hardware.
According to hardware leaker jaykihn0, Intel decided to cancel the desktop release of its 12 Xe core Nova Lake processor. This specific configuration was originally designed to borrow the larger graphics die from the mobile Nova Lake H family. Desktop users hoping for a massive leap in built in graphics performance will now have to wait for the next release window.

The 12 Xe configuration is now slated to appear during the Razor Lake S generation.
