iQOO has revealed official details and design renders for its upcoming iQOO 16 flagship smartphone. The new device debuts 3 sci fi inspired color options alongside an advanced screen developed in partnership with Samsung Display. Retail sales will open immediately following the official launch broadcast later this month.
The brand is leaning heavily into futuristic visuals. The Chasing Light edition uses laser holographic technology to create floating red and blue reflections across the back cover. A second model named Legend applies magnetron sputtering electroplating with a 670 nanometer film layer, producing a cool white base with silver gray undertones. The third option named Track takes cues from F1 purple timing sectors, blending deep purple highlights into an understated black surface.
Screen performance is another major selling point for the hardware. During a joint technical conference with Samsung Display, the two companies introduced their Future Display Exploration project. The iQOO 16 will be the very first commercial smartphone to feature the results of this joint research. Both brands confirmed plans to expand engineering cooperation to push mobile screen clarity and visual quality further.
