An upcoming OnePlus flagship model codenamed PYB110 has surfaced in the AnTuTu database, and it is widely expected to launch as the OnePlus 16. The testing unit logged a record score exceeding 5380000 points while running on the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 processor and Android 17. OnePlus has already confirmed that its next flagship will be among the first devices to ship with the new silicon.
According to official data released by AnTuTu, the tested device produced a total score of 5384433 on the AnTuTu V12 benchmark platform. This places the device right at the top of the performance rankings. The breakdown shows a CPU score of 1458283, a GPU score of 2010584, a memory score of 766362, and a user experience score of 1149204. The prototype configuration tested featured 16GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage.
The performance jump comes down to the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 platform introduced at the Snapdragon Summit. Qualcomm built this processor on an ultra dense 2 nanometer process, pushing peak CPU clock speeds past 5.0GHz. The new architecture delivers a 13% boost in CPU power alongside a 37% improvement in energy efficiency and 15% faster app responsiveness.
Graphics performance sees an even larger jump. Qualcomm added dedicated Adreno Matrix Cores specifically for artificial intelligence tasks, backed by 18MB of dedicated high speed memory. These hardware upgrades result in a 44% leap in GPU performance while cutting power consumption by 40%. The result is a device built to handle heavy mobile gaming and local processing workloads without draining the battery quickly.
OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 16 will carry this new silicon as one of its premiere launch devices. While full hardware details and camera systems remain unannounced, the early benchmark numbers show that OnePlus is aiming for the top spot in raw Android performance.
