The POCO F9 Ultra has been put through intensive gaming benchmarks to test its cooling system and raw speed. The handset packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor alongside a 185 Hz screen. A performance test by YouTube channel Geek Culture shows how the flagship handles demanding titles during extended sessions.
Testing started with graphic heavy open world games at maximum settings. In Genshin Impact, the phone ran smoothly for most of the run. Minor dips showed up in the open world down to 52 and 54 fps, with occasional drops near 40 fps during chaotic fights. The device stayed comfortable to hold, measuring 35.7 °C on the exterior after 12 minutes. Battery consumption remained low, dropping only 2% during that run.
Zenless Zone Zero ran on ultra graphics presets with similar stability. A brief drop to 40 fps occurred during fast combat, but the game maintained fluid motion across the session. The front panel reached 37.9 °C after 12 minutes of active play. The battery drained just 3% over that same duration, showing solid power management for a high load title.
The longest stress test took place in Delta Force. The handset maintained a flat 120 fps at high graphics presets throughout a 33 minute match. There was no visible thermal throttling. Heat remained well distributed across the back panel, reaching 38.5 °C around the camera module. Internal CPU sensors peaked at 41 °C.
Total battery drain for the full half hour of Delta Force was roughly 10%. Over typical 15 minute gaming periods, the phone lost between 2% and 3% of its charge. The cooling setup keeps internal heat from degrading performance, allowing the Snapdragon silicon to sustain high frame rates without aggressive throttling.
