The series arrives in 2 distinct screen sizes to cover different portable needs. The standard Xiaomi Pad 9 features an 11.2 inch display with 800 nits of peak brightness, sold in Ice Peach Pink, Spruce Green, Black, and Silver. For users who need more workspace, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro steps up to a 12.5 inch panel that reaches 1000 nits, available in Spruce Green, Black, and Silver. Both screens deliver a crisp 3.2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. They also include DC dimming alongside 3 separate TÜV Rheinland eye safety certifications to reduce strain during extended work hours.
Xiaomi uses different Qualcomm processors to separate the two tiers. The base model runs on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip with a 9720mAh battery. The Pro edition steps up to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, backed by a massive 11000mAh battery cell. And the Xring O3 is for the Pro Max which is already out. According to official promotional data, the Pro battery provides up to 14.5 hours of short video playback or 20 hours of continuous online video meetings. That is serious battery life.
