abxylute P5 Controller Launches for PlayStation 5 with Hall Effect Sticks

Gaming peripheral maker abxylute has introduced the P5 controller, a wireless gamepad built for Sony PlayStation 5 with Hall effect joysticks and adaptive triggers. The hardware offers cross platform support alongside programmable rear buttons and high polling rates. Early bird pricing begins at $75.99 through official retail channels.

The abxylute P5 features a symmetrical analog stick arrangement. The thumbsticks utilize magnetic Hall effect sensors to prevent stick drift and offer 2 switchable response profiles. Conductive rubber pads sit under the directional pad, shoulder bumpers, and front action keys for quiet input. A clickable 2 point capacitive touchpad occupies the top center, supported by an internal 6 axis gyroscope for motion aiming. The back panel features 2 programmable buttons for custom mapping, while the main triggers provide variable resistance and an optional turbo rapid fire mode.

The gamepad pairs with PlayStation 5 consoles, PC systems, Android hardware, and Apple iOS platforms. Wireless connectivity over Bluetooth runs at a 700Hz polling rate, while wired USB operation functions at 250Hz. Tactile vibrations come from voice coil motors tuned for localized rumble feedback. Power is supplied by a 1500mAh internal cell rated for 8 hours of active play per charge. The complete unit weighs 285 grams.
