Acer has listed the Sospiro A70 on its official website, introducing a budget 5G smartphone equipped with a secondary rear display. The device pairs a 6.67 inch 120 Hz front display with a miniature 1.88 inch screen on the back panel beside the 64 MP main camera. Acer has not yet released pricing or release timing.
The primary feature is the secondary rear display. Positioned next to the cameras, this 1.88 inch screen offers a resolution of 240x284 pixels for checking quick notifications. Up front, the phone uses a 6.67 inch IPS panel with a 720x1600 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The rear camera system features a 64 MP main sensor supported by an LED flash and artificial intelligence tools. A 16 MP front camera sits inside the screen cutout for video calls and selfies.
The device runs Android 16 on a Unisoc T8200 processor. Storage starts at 256GB alongside 8GB of RAM, which can expand virtually up to 20GB. A microSDXC slot supports external cards up to 1TB. Upgrading over the earlier 4G A15 model, the A70 connects to 5G networks. Additional connectivity features include NFC, Wi Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a traditional 3.5 mm audio jack.
A 5000 mAh battery powers the phone with fast charging support. Biometric security includes face unlock and a physical fingerprint reader integrated into the right power key. The body measures 165.95 by 77.1 by 8.35 millimeters and weighs 210 grams. The hardware carries an IP64 rating for dust and water splash resistance.
