ANBERNIC has previewed the RG DDS, a new dual screen gaming handheld powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 processor. The clamshell system features 2 IPS LCD displays and an integrated telescopic stylus. Pricing remains unannounced, with retail launch details expected soon.
The upper display measures 4.7 inches with a resolution of 1200x720, while the lower panel measures 4 inches at 960x720. Both screens reach 500 nits of brightness and deliver a pixel density of 300 PPI. The handheld uses a metal stepless hinge to adjust viewing angles, and the outer shell features a protective UV coating. The lower left side contains a storage slot for a retractable stylus, while the lower right side includes a dedicated physical AI button. Audio output relies on dual stereo speakers positioned on the top section of the device.
ANBERNIC built active cooling fans into the interior to keep the Snapdragon processor running stable during gaming sessions. Haptic feedback comes from a Z axis linear motor. Power is supplied by a 6000 mAh battery. Official pricing and global release timing remain unconfirmed.
