Apple iPhone 18 Pro Series Sales Surpass 1.76 Million Units in China

Apple has seen strong early demand for the iPhone 18 Pro series, with domestic sales in China reaching 1760000 units during week 39. Industry insider Digital Chat Station reports that sales momentum is projected to push cumulative volume past 2500000 units following a holiday purchasing surge. Both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have crossed 1000000 individual activations each since arriving at a base price of 9999 yuan for 256GB of storage.

Apple equips both flagship handsets with the A20 Pro processor built on TSMC 2nm manufacturing. The architecture delivers higher CPU and GPU speeds alongside improved on device AI processing. To manage heat output, the hardware integrates a newly designed vapor chamber cooling system. Apple states this thermal layout produces the strongest sustained performance profile ever recorded on an iPhone.

The optical system features a 48 MP Fusion primary camera equipped with physical variable aperture technology. The lens assembly uses 6 laser cut blades to switch between 4 fixed aperture stops consisting of f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/4.0. Photographers can adjust these physical stops manually inside the stock camera application. Apple also opened the hardware controls through an API, allowing third party developers to integrate aperture switching directly into custom camera tools.

Battery endurance on the iPhone 18 Pro Max reaches between 29 and 43 hours of operating time on a full charge. Recharging speeds have also increased substantially. When connected to a 60W or higher AVS power adapter, the phone restores 50% capacity in approximately 15 minutes. Real world testing indicates the handset pulls a peak charging power of 52W during this rapid power cycle.
