ATK has released the Blazing Sky Phantom, an ultra lightweight wireless gaming mouse made from carbon fiber composite. The symmetrical pointer weighs 44 grams and supports an 8000 Hz polling rate across both wired and 2.4 GHz connections. The mouse is currently selling at a promotional price of $100 before rising to its standard $120 retail cost.
ATK builds the shell from carbon fiber composite with geometric cutouts to minimize mass. The mouse measures 119.7 by 62.5 by 37.3 millimeters and weighs 44 grams with a margin of 3 grams. Its low profile symmetrical shape caters to small and medium hand sizes across palm, claw, and fingertip grips. The outer surface features a specialized nano coating. Buyers can pick from 4 color options named Dune, Verge, Eon, and Prime, though regional availability determines final color stock.
Tracking relies on the PAW3955 Master optical sensor. It tops out at 50000 dpi sensitivity, 850 ips tracking speed, and 75 G acceleration. Users can adjust lift off distance between 0.7 and 1.7 millimeters in 0.1 millimeter steps. A Nordic 54LM20 controller runs the device alongside the proprietary ApexShark MAX architecture. This setup delivers an 8000 Hz polling rate over a wired cable or a 2.4 GHz wireless link via GEM 8K and Nano 8K receivers.
Main buttons use Omron optical switches that register clicks in 0.174 milliseconds. Because they rely on light beams rather than metal leaves, they operate without standard debounce delay. Scrolling relies on a Raesha optical encoder. The internal 300 mAh battery delivers up to 200 hours of runtime at a 1000 Hz polling rate, with battery life decreasing under 4000 Hz and 8000 Hz operation. Settings like dpi stages, polling frequencies, and button binds are configured through the ATK HUB v3.0 software package.
