A developer has released an unofficial native port of Bloodborne for Android devices on GitHub. Built from a recent Linux PC project, the software runs without emulation on modern Snapdragon hardware. Performance reaches playable frame rates in early areas, though stability across the full campaign remains unverified.
The developer, known as ducvd89, published the project files under the name Bloodborne Android. Testing was conducted on 2 devices: an AYN Thor handheld featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and an Oppo Find N5 phone running a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. In the Central Yharnam section, the AYN Thor achieved 34 to 35 FPS without frame generation after lowering visual detail and disabling selected graphical effects. Higher frame rates are possible on newer silicon like the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The build includes native support for on screen touch controls, external gamepads, user mods, and frame generation using Lossless Scaling. Sony has never officially published the FromSoftware title outside the PlayStation 4, making community projects the only method to run the software on mobile hardware. The developer plans further optimization updates, as current testing has not confirmed whether players can complete the game from start to finish without crashes.
