HP has launched the EliteBoard G2a, a fully functional personal computer built directly inside an 1800 layout keyboard. The device integrates AMD Ryzen AI processors capable of 50 TOPS alongside upgradeable SODIMM memory slots. Pricing starts at $3028 for the base configuration, with higher tiers reaching $4167.

HP sells 2 processor configurations for the EliteBoard G2a. The base model features the 6 core Ryzen AI 5 Pro 435 with 16GB of DDR5 5600 RAM and a 512GB PCIe Gen 5 solid state drive for $3028. The higher tier model runs the 8 core Ryzen AI 7 Pro 450 with 32GB of RAM and a 512GB solid state drive for $4167. Both processors include an integrated neural processing unit providing 50 TOPS for local artificial intelligence calculations. Graphics capability marks the primary hardware divide, as the Ryzen AI 7 version includes the Radeon 860M with 8 compute units, doubling the 4 compute units on the Ryzen AI 5 version with the Radeon 840M.

The chassis uses a membrane keyboard with white backlighting and an 1800 key arrangement. Unlike many compact desktop systems, the internal board provides user upgradeable SODIMM slots for memory expansion. Power delivery draws 65W through USB connections.
