Vivo sub brand iQOO has previewed the Neo12, positioning the series as an equal co flagship alongside its numbered models. The handset debuts a 2K resolution screen refreshing at 185Hz, supported by custom gaming silicon and a square camera island. Full launch details and official pricing for China remain unannounced.
Product manager Luo Jiahui confirmed that the Neo lineup now shares top tier flagship status within the company portfolio. Official preview materials reveal a redesigned rear panel with a square camera island. The phone also integrates a new Ice Dome air cooling system designed to manage thermal output during extended gaming workloads.
The device pairs a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with a dedicated Q3 gaming chip. A new Monster super core engine coordinates these processors to run full scene ray tracing. This silicon setup allows the phone to run frame interpolation and resolution upscaling at the same time without stutter. Software additions include custom visual filters, contrast enhancers, and dedicated in game camera utilities.
The screen runs at 2K resolution with a maximum refresh rate of 185Hz. Built on 4th generation pTSF light emitting materials, the panel balances high transparency with reduced power consumption. This release marks the first commercial deployment of this display technology on a consumer smartphone.
