MSI has expanded its gaming display lineup with the launch of the MAG 276QE34 and the MAG 276QR42. Both 27 inch QHD displays use Rapid IPS panels capable of reaching refresh rates up to 425 Hz. MSI has not yet announced retail pricing or release dates for either model.
The displays run at 2560x1440 resolution with a 0.5 ms gray to gray response speed. The MAG 276QE34 operates at a 340 Hz refresh rate, while the MAG 276QR42 reaches 425 Hz. Color output covers 97% of both DCI P3 and Adobe RGB profiles alongside 10 bit color depth. Maximum brightness hits 400 nits with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, meeting VESA DisplayHDR 400 requirements. Anti tearing support comes from both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G SYNC compatibility.
MSI added several firmware tools to assist competitive players. AI Vision brightens shadow detail in dark zones, and the firmware includes both an adaptive crosshair and an integrated sniper zoom function. The monitors also feature custom display profiles optimized for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S consoles.
The back panel provides 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4a, and a 3.5 mm audio output. The included stand supports height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and 90 degree vertical pivot. Users who prefer custom arms can attach the screens using standard VESA 100x100 mm mounting points.
