The core addition to the interface is Soundscapes, a tool combining music and ambient background audio to assist concentration or relaxation. Opera split the audio library into 4 distinct categories including Focus, Relax, Work, and Ambience. The Ambience selection contains recordings such as ocean waves and spring forests. Composers wrote all included musical tracks exclusively for Opera Air.

A dedicated tool called Breaks introduces short breathing exercises and guided neck stretches into the workflow. Users can configure scheduled notifications at custom intervals to step away from active browsing. Opera also refreshed the visual background catalog with high resolution imagery of open spaces and natural textures. These wallpapers automatically adjust contrast based on whether the browser is running in light or dark display modes.
