OPPO Pad Mini Global Launch Brings 8.8 Inch 144 Hz AMOLED Screen

OPPO has confirmed the global launch of the Pad Mini, bringing its 8.8 inch AMOLED tablet to international markets. The device pairs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with an 8000 mAh battery and a 144 Hz display. Official store listings are already live across Southeast Asia, though international pricing remains unannounced.

OPPO published official store portals in Malaysia and Thailand following early teasers in India and Singapore. Listings in Thailand confirm a Lavender Purple option branded as the Matte Display Edition with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The company has not confirmed whether other global territories will receive identical hardware configurations.

The front panel features an 8.8 inch AMOLED screen with a 2520x1680 resolution and a dynamic refresh rate topping out at 144 Hz. Qualcomm silicon drives the device via the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. Power comes from an 8000 mAh battery that accepts 67W fast charging.

The tablet includes a 13 MP rear sensor alongside an 8 MP front lens for video calls. In China, the baseline 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration entered retail at 3699 yuan, which converts to approximately $550. Global pricing figures and exact shipping schedules for other regional markets have not yet been published by the company.
