BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2: A New Light for Your Workspace
If you are in front of your computer for hours, certain inconveniences usually reappear after one-another. Eyes fatigue, glare, and headaches are a matter of course. BenQ tried to ease this burden by setting some new innovations into action this very year. One of the innovations is the BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2. The task lamp is unique in its kind because it acts more like a clever monitor-mounted light, ultimately creating perfect comfort around your screen.
Brightly illuminates the workspace
What then makes the ScreenBar Halo 2 a piece of distinction. The light cleverly perches and casts a glow over the desk and wall behind it. That's a smart move from them. The greater part of the idea is minimizing harsh contrast between the brightly lit screen and darker surroundings, the usual culprits of eyestrain.
The set up looks like it's handled in an accomplished manner:

They can now freely design their creations, confident that lighting is not interfering with whatever may be exhibited on the calibrated screen. Technical specifications are remarkable, as measured by a color fidelity (Rf) score of 96 and a color gamut (Rg) measuring about 100.
- In Your Hands: A very nice remote control with a touchpad and knobs for brightness and color intensity means you can tune the light for your preference or the time of the day as desired easily.
Light Where You Want It To Be
During designing, the BenQ smartly made the ScreenBar Halo 2 with focused light delivery. The core intensity seems to be above 1,000 lux, assumedly on top of that very sweet front edge of your monitor. And then the light gently trails into nonexistence, lighting up a nice good portion approximately 115 cm x 60 cm (more like 3.8 x 2.0 feet) with luxes just under 300 at the periphery.
Where Do I Get One.
BenQ's device is currently priced at some 26,900 Japanese yen, which equals $190. On June 1, it will first be available for sale on the BenQ website in Japanese while finding its way to Amazon Japan shortly thereafter.
