The creative developer Mundfish has confirmed some exciting news Atomic Heart II is in development. There is a lot for fans to look forward to in this new endeavor coming to PC and console platforms.

Expectations will run high. Geoff Keighley from the Summer Game Fest states that this title is described as a spiritual successor to the first. Rather interestingly, it seems that this time around the team at Mundfish is planning to focus a lot more on RPG elements, the twist on which could very much spice up the whole experience.

As much as we are excited, we still do not have a release window. The announcement at the Summer Game Fest was mostly a very tantalizing trailer. The footage showed off what seems to be a much bigger game world than the first Atomic Heart and confirmed that development is actually underway.

This was not the only thing Mundfish had to say at the event Apart from Atomic Heart II, they also unveiled another new project called The Cube. Looks like the studio has been working really hard.
