RedMagic's newest tablet, the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, was released into the open in China. This tablet strives to be a compact gaming tablet of the top tier, under power of the screaming Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with an OLED screen. It sits in the market somewhere between stronger competitors like the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra.
Having been teased for some time, the Gaming Tablet 3 Pro is now being offered as RedMagic's most premium tablet to this date and is riding the growing trend of powerful smaller tablets aimed towards gaming lovers.
The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro sports a 9.06-inch OLED screen with a lightning-fast 165 Hz refresh rate. The brightness can peak at 1,100 nIts on this tablet, coupled with PWM dimming frequency at a high 5,280Hz to reduce strain on the eyes. RedMagic proudly claims an incredible 90.1% screen-to-body ratio, thus letting the tablet be even smaller than the 8.8-inch Legion Y700 (4th Gen) and less wide than an iPad Mini 7.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset drives the gaming machine supported by LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage. RedMagic proudly mentions a 3.34 million AnTuTu benchmark score for the device. Other features suited for performance and gaming are as follows:
- A giant 8,200 mAh battery.
- Super-fast 80W wired charging.
- Bypass charging support, giving you the option to charge the tablet directly while gaming.
- The Pad Magic Cooling System 3.0 heats the device during prolonged sessions.
- A Synopsys S3930 touch chip enabling a super-responsive 240 Hz ten-finger touch sampling rate.
- PC gaming emulator embedded in the device by RedMagic.
