Ayaneo Reveals New 'Konkr' Cheap Gaming Brand and Late Gaming Pad
Along side with AYANEO NEXT 2. In a new plan show, Ayaneo told about two product lines. They are starting a new cheap sub-brand called Konkr, kicking off with the Pocket Fit handheld. They also showed a working model of their first Android gaming pad, the Ayaneo Gaming Pad, which is late from its first plan to come out.
Konkr Cheap Gaming New Brand
Ayaneo is making the Konkr sub-brand to have gear with better price-to-power than its main products. They aim to take on other cheap gaming handhelds out there.
The Konkr Pocket Fit Handheld
The first thing from this new brand will be the Konkr Pocket Fit. No set price or exact launch date, just "soon," but some main details are out:
- Chipset: It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset for top-end power, but the exact type wasn't said.
- Display: It will show a 6-inch, 144 Hz edgeless screen.
- Design: The Pocket Fit keeps Ayaneo's main look with a curvy body, three sets of shoulder buttons, and two buttons on the back.
- Future Plans: They also plan a bigger 7-inch model with an 80 Wh battery, though its look wasn't shown.
Ayaneo Gaming Pad Late but Shown
First said in March for a May release, the Ayaneo Gaming Pad is now months late. They showed a working model of the pad and its add-on controller.
Pad Model and Specs
The model shows a see-through look in black and white choices. It looks thicker than some others, because of a built-in cooling fan and a big, unnamed battery.
- Model Design Change: The working model has one sticking out rear camera and no LED flash. This is different from past looks that had two cameras with a flash. It's not clear which look will be final.
- Display: The pad will have an 8.3-inch IPS LCD with a 2K (2266 x 1488) screen, a 120Hz rate, and a 3:2 size.
- Processor: It will have a Qualcomm chip, said before to be the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3.
- Build: The device has a curvy metal frame, a USB-C port, a headphone jack, and a back LED for charging.
Optional Stretch Out Controller
Ayaneo also showed a stretch game controller made for the pad, sold on its own. The controller links through USB-C and has off-center joysticks, ABXY buttons, two more shoulder buttons, two back buttons, and shifting triggers.
Even with the new info, Ayaneo gave no new date for the Gaming Pad, just saying it "will be shown fully soon."
