Battlefield 6 Release Date, Cost, and Game Play Info Set
Electronic Arts has now made it clear about Battlefield 6, making sure the old news about when it will come out and how much it will cost was right. The game will start on October 10 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X, with no early play time.

Game Place and Single-Player Story
The game is set in 2027, when a big killing leads to world chaos. Big countries in Europe leave NATO, and the United States and its friends face off against a big private army, PAX ARMATA. The single-player story, made by Motive, tracks Dagger 1-3, a group of Marine Raiders, with “huge set parts” and big action.
New Fight and Move Ways
Battlefield 6 brings in a "body feel" fight system to make shooting and moving better with many new fight choices:
- Drag and Save: Pull a hurt friend to a safe spot while helping them.
- Peek and Lean: Look around edges while staying hidden.
- Fight Rolls: A new move to lower fall hurt and dodge shots.
- Set Weapons: Set weapons on covers to cut recoil.
- Hitch Ride: Lets more players ride on vehicles than just in seats.
The makers also promise sure recoil shapes and clear weapon ranges.
The Return of Old Class Types
The four old class types Assault, Engineer, Recon, and Support are back.
Assault
- Type: Uses assault rifles, runs to fire quicker, and gets less fall hurt.
- Tool: Adrenaline Shot, which clears stun, boosts run speed, and cuts blast hurt.
- Learn:
- Grenadier: Faster grenade launcher loads and more grenades.
- Frontliner: Better health back and an extra Adrenaline Shot.
Engineer
- Type: Uses SMGs, better hip-fire, and less blast hurt.
- Tool: Fix Tool to mend friends or hurt foes.
- Learn:
- Anti-Armor: Better at hurting foe vehicles with faster loads and rockets that lessen fix speed.
- Fight Engineer: Vehicle health back by itself and spots mines on its own.
Recon
- Type: Uses sniper rifles with quicker re-loading and better breath hold. Spots foes on its own while aiming.
- Tool: Move Sensor to track foe steps.
- Learn:
- Sniper: Better auto-spotting and shots that stop healing.
- Pathfinder: Not seen by tools (except when running) and can take down quietly.
Support
- Type: Uses LMGs with no run speed cut and helps group mates up faster.
- Tool: Help Bag to heal allies and give out bullets.
- Learn:
- Combat Medic: Acts like a health spot for the group.
- Fire Support: Better weapon hold from set spots and gives bullets to mates.
Tactics Break and Start Content
Tactics break is back, letting players smash walls and structures with everything from rockets to hammers. The game will start with nine maps and a mix of old and new play types, like Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, Team Deathmatch, and a new type called Escalation.
Portal Back with Full Steps
Portal is back with better tools, a space editor powered by Godot, and a better server list. Things made in Portal's "Checked Mode" will count in the main game. EA also promised regular new content after start with new maps, modes, and tools.
