Zalman Shows New Zet5 'Quick' Cooler for Strong Processors

Zalman's new top cooler, the Zet5, looks like a jet engine. Even with its rare look, the cooler works as well as the big tower types and can keep high-end game CPUs cool.

Main Details and Skills

The Zet5 is made to work with today's CPUs. Here's what it can do:

  • Cooling Power: It can cool CPUs that use up to 200 watts.
  • Fits These Sockets: Works with Intel LGA1851/1700/1200/115X and AMD AM5/AM4.
  • Build: Has a five-pipe nickel-plated heat sink.
  • Fan Speed: Goes from 600 to 2000 RPM.
  • Air Pull: Up to 44.48 CFM.
  • Sound Level: Up to 30.4 dBA.
  • Size & Weight: It's 30 by 117 by 158 mm, and weighs 970g.

Cost and New Types Coming

When it first came out in Korea, the black Zet5 cost $55 and the white one was $57.

Zalman also said they will soon make Zet3 (for up to 150W TDP) and Zet4 (for up to 180W TDP) coolers. They will look like the Zet5. We will find out the cost of these cheaper models later.
