Deadpool VR Game Announced at Gamescom Featuring John Leguizamo as Villain Mojo

A new VR game starring the "merc with a mouth" was announced at Gamescom 2025's Opening Night Live. The game's developer, Twisted Pixel, confirmed that John Leguizamo is the voice of Deadpool's nemesis, Mojo.

Plot A Reality Show for Marvel's Toughest Villains

The game's storyline focuses on Deadpool entering a contract with Mojo, major intergalactic streaming, to make a new reality TV show. Thus, after having failed to read the fine print attached to the deal, Deadpool now must "recruit" (or kidnap) some of the heavy hitters from the Marvel universe of villains.

The villains that have already been "confirmed" for his recruitment list include:

  • Lady Deathstrike
  • Mephisto
  • Omega Red
  • Ultimo

Gameplay, Weapons, and Classic Deadpool Mayhem

To accomplish his targets, Deadpool is bestowed a wide array of extravagant weaponry from which to choose. Besides signature handguns, players can use a "Mojo-ified" version of Thor's hammer, known as "Mojo-nir," alongside rocket launchers, dual blades, and a sniper rifle that can fire tiny humans.

The experience should be uniquely chaotic in the fashion that is classic Deadpool. The game also features acts that include destroying a helicopter by a jeep and using Deadpool's own severed limbs as weapons.

Platforms and Release Date

Deadpool VR will be available on November 18 for Meta Quest 3, and the new platform will be released for Meta Quest 3S.
