OneXPlayer OneXGPU Lite Launches for Global Market

One-Netbook has put OneXPlayer OneXGPU Lite, their new-generation compact eGPU, for order on their global website. The eGPU is far smaller compared to the previous models of OneXPlayer eGPUs, which came with one OCuLink and 80 Gbps USB-C.

Core Performance and GPU

The OneXGPU Lite uses the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT graphics card. This is the same GPU used in the original OneXGPU, meaning performance-wise, it is compromised compared to the newer OneXGPU 2, which uses a Radeon RX 7800M.

Key Advantage Compact and Lightweight Design

The main selling point for the OneXGPU Lite is its small footprint and portability. Relative to the other models in the lineup, it retains a significant amount in size and weight:

  • OneXGPU Lite: 144 x 116 x 34.5 mm / 493.5 g
  • OneXGPU (Original): 196 x 120 x 32 mm / 869 g
  • OneXGPU 2: 229 x 175 x 43 mm / 1.59 kg

Connectivity Options

The device has an OCuLink port using Thunderbolt 5 and USB4 v2 at 80 Gbps transfer rates. However, with respect to the 80 Gbps rating of the port, the connection is somewhat limited by a PCIe 4.0 x4 pass-through, thus capping the peak bandwidth to 64 Gbps whatever be the connection method.

Pricing and Shipping Information

OneXPlayer OneXGPU Lite has been priced at a promotional cost of $699, with an MSRP of $799, free accessories included.

One-Netbook expects to start shipping the OneXGPU Lite to global orders on or after October 10th.
