Sharp Unveils Aquos Sense 10 Mid-Range Cell Phone
Sharp introduces its new mid-range smartphone, the Aquos Sense 10. The phone retains the compact form of the predecessor but with notable upgrades in performance, audio, and camera capabilities. A variety of AI-based features have also been included, such as spam call recognition.
Display And Core Hardware
The Aquos Sense 10 is built around a 6.1-inch Pro IGZO OLED display that features an adaptive 1 to 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1500 nits. Plenty of power comes from underneath the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. A 5000 mAh battery powers it with 36W charging through the USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port.
Camera System
The main camera system includes two 50 Megapixel sensors:
- A primary 50MP module that has a large 1/1,55” sensor and OIS.
- A 50MP wide-angle module with a 1/2,5” sensor and autofocus support.
The selfie camera boasts a 32-Megapixel sensor.
Build, Audio & Design
This phone has an all-metal body and is certified for both IP68 dust and water protection and military standard MIL-STD-810H durability. Improvements in sound quality have been made noticeable by the use of symmetrical stereo speakers. It measures 149 x 73 x 8.9 mm and weighs 166 grams.
Colors, Accessories, and Price
Aquos Sense 10 comes in six color variants, and each variant has an exclusive branded case. Sharp intends to launch limited accessory collaborations with Japanese brands: Spingle, Blue Sakura Jeans, and Kojima Genes.
Price on the Japanese Market:
- 6GB + 128GB Version: ¥62,700 (~$406)
- 8GB + 256GB Version: ¥69,300 (~$449)
