Honor Magic8 Lite Unveils with Huge Battery, Flagship Quality Display
Honor launched the Magic8 Lite, a mid-range phone designed to accommodate premium specifications reserved for a higher-tier phone. The very bright display, a huge battery capacity, and advanced protection against water or dust are among the features for this model.
Display and Durability Features
The front of the device has a 6.79-inch OLED panel having a resolution of 2640x1200 pixels with a very smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The highlight is the ultra-thin 1.3mm bezels with an impressive peak brightness of 6000 nits. It features 3840Hz PWM dimming for visual comfort.
Honor focused heavily on durability. The Magic8 Lite is rated with a five-star SGS certification in mechanical resistances and water and dust proofed with IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings.
Power and Performance
The smartphone utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor at its core. Along with that, it packs an 8GB RAM which is accompanied by a storage capacity of either 256GB or 512GB. A great feature is the power system

- Charging: Base charging is 66W fast wired.
- Longevity: Honor guarantees that the battery would still show 80% of its rated capacity, after the end of six years of use.
- Reverse Charging: It can be utilized as a power bank for 7.5W output.
Camera and Software
At the back, there is a 108MP main sensor (1/1.67" with OIS) paired with a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture. A 16MP camera works on selfies on the front.
Magic8 Lite runs on Android 15 overlaid at the top by Honor's MagicOS 9 which has a basket of AI features related to image editing tools.
Availability
Honor Magic8 Lite will be available in January 2026. The company has not yet revealed the company's pricing details, which are expected closer to the release date.
