LG Launches UltraGear Evo Monitor Series With 5K Resolution and AI Features
LG is gearing towards the launch of the UltraGear evo monitor series with an expected unveiling at CES 2026. Three major flagship models, consisting of the 39GX950B, 27GM950B, and 52G930B with high-resolution displays and AI technology, will comprise the new series.
AI Technology Onboard
A key feature shared by all new models is the inclusion of LG's in-house AI for upscaling lower-resolution content to just under 5K image quality. Additional AI features such as scene optimization and tuning of the sound will only be present on the 39GX950B and 27GM950B models.

- Note: It is being billed as the first 27-inch 5K gaming monitor of its kind.
LG UltraGear evo 52G930B

- HDR Certification: VESA DisplayHDR 600
Launch and Availability
LG also confirmed that another model, the UltraGear GX7 (27GX790B), will go on sale on the very day when CES 2026 would kick off. Pricing for any of the new UltraGear evo monitors hasn't yet been disclosed.
