Motorola Razr Fold Comes to Life During CES 2026

Having entered the book-style segmented foldable arena, Motorola has made an announcement about the Razr Fold in CES 2026. The phone is said to compete with other high-end foldables by Google and Samsung, while not all of its specifications are apprised.

Display Specifications

With two large screens, the Razr Fold goes trying to take on this other flagships of the foldable kind.

  • Cover Display: 6.6 inches
  • Internal Display: 8.1 inches, early impressions remarked about it being relatively creaseless.

Camera System

The camera electronics are one of the many main focuses of the device, as much for high resolution on the rear and front.

  • Rear Cameras: Triple 50 MP
    • Winning: 50 MP Sony Lytia sensor with OIS.
    • Ultra-Wide-Angle: 50 MP with a 12 mm equivalent focal length.
    • Telephoto: 50 MP with the 71 mm equivalent focal length of 3x optical zoom.
  • Front Cameras:
    • Cover: 32 MP
    • Internal: 20 MP

Unconfirmed and Release Date

Motorola has not confirmed the chipset running the Razr Fold and, for that matter, anything about its battery capacity.

The company expects the phone to be launched sometime in the summer of 2026. Assuming this slide, the Razr Fold will be coming up directly against the next generation of foldables already-marketed models like the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
